‘Y’ symbolizes youth of in the post-digital age, and avoids conventional take takes on on brand identity.
This new approach is expressed in the asymmetric, bold, straight lines of the logo Y, which allows offers the brand to have a unique personality.
The distinctive logo also appeals to the trend-conscious 20-somethings, while the shape Y demonstrates represents the spotlight image of spotlight.
Its geometric principle provides the basis of the VI system, from key visuals to brand typeface, and helps users recognize and interact with the brand easily.
The design motif of ‘Your Own Spotlight’ speaks to the point of view and identity of Gen Z, who wish to be recognized as who they are.
The color scheme centers on Mint and expands in through various applications with using a color palette of Yellow, Orange, Purple, and Blue.
These become a tools for self-expression, reflecting Gen Z’s familiarity with visual communication.
‘Y’는 기성의 브랜드 아이덴티티가 선택하는 전형적인 형태를 탈피하여 비대칭적인 과감한 직선으로 이루어진 로고인 워드마크 Y로 Y의 유니크한 감성을 표현했다.
워드마크 Y는 볼드한 사선과 획의 대비로 브랜드에 고유한 개성을 부여하는 한편 알파벳 Y이자 동시에 강렬한 스포트라이트 이미지로 인식되는 독특한 조형을 가진다.
워드마크의 핵심 작도 원리를 기준으로 다양하게 변주하여, 키 그래픽부터 브랜드 전용 서체까지 일관성 있는 브랜드 아이덴티티 시스템을 통해 Z세대에게 다가가고 교류하고자 한다.
있는 그대로의 개성으로 주목 받길 원하는 Z세대를 위하여 각자의 가치관과 정체성을 응원하는 “Your Own Spotlight” 메시지와 함께 스포트라이트를 모티브로 디자인을 전개해 나간다.
이는 생동감 넘치는 Mint Color를 메인으로 Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue의 다채로운 색상 팔레트와 함께 다양한 연출로 확장되며, 시각적 재미에 익숙한 Z세대의 시선을 사로잡고 자신을 표현하기 위한 수단이 된다.
